1st and 2nd ERANet-LAC Joint Calls

The ERANet-LAC Project, funded by the 7FP, organised two Joint Calls on Research and Innovation with the participation of programme owners in the Member States of the European Union (MS), the Associated Countries to the 7th Framework Programme (AC) and the Latin-American and the Caribbean Countries. 

 

1st Joint Call

The first transnational call under the ERANet-LAC project was successfully completed in November 2014. It counted with the participation of 20 funding organizations from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean countries. A total of 14 selected projects received 10,4M€ on the following thematics: Biodiversity (18%) Bioeconomy/Energy (57%) and Health (25%).

National Funding Rules: 

For the 2nd ERANet-LAC Joint Call, launched in 2015, 32 funding organizations from 25 member countries in the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin-American and Caribbean States (CELAC) joined forces to fund 24 research and innovation projects in the thematic fields of Biodiversity/Climate, Bioeconomy, Energy, Health and Information- and Communication Technologies (ICT).
